Sino Iron Power Plant - 11kV Gas Turbine
Power System Design is currently busy with the design of the new 11kV/220kV and 11/33kV infrastructure required at Sino Iron Power Plant in order to facilitate connection of 10 new 11kV gas/steam turbines and associated generator transformers.
Power System Design has been awarded the contract to design supply and manufacture all protection and control panels.
The project involves the secondary design for the new 11//33/220kV power plant as follows:
- 3 x 11/220kV Generator transformers;
- 2 x 220/33kV Interconnector transformers;
- 7 x 11/33kV Generator transformers;
- 1 x 220kV Line;
- 19 x 33kV Plant Feeders;
- 2 x 33kV Incomers;
- 2 x 33kV Bus Tie bays;
- 2 x 33kV Bus coupler bays;
- 3 x 33/6.6kV Plant Transformers.
PSD are responsible for the supply of the following services/equipment:
Design
- Design of protection and control systems;
- Settings, fault calculations;
- Design AC & DC auxiliary systems;
- Control cable schedules;
- Verification of manufacturers drawings;
Supply
- 1 x 220kV line protection and control schemes;
- 3 x 11/220kV Transformer protection and control schemes;
- 2 x 220/33kV Transformer protection and control schemes;
- 1 x 220kV Busbar protection schemes;
- 7 x 11/33kV Transformer protection and control schemes;
- Substation DC System;
- Substation AC system.
Testing / Commissioning
- Complete protection FAT testing
